My family has a tradition of going somewhere new each summer.
This was something mom plus dad began when all of us were little.
However, last Summer was the first time all of us stayed at home. During Spring, mom fell after sliding on mud plus broke her leg. It took time to heal because she got an infection at the start of summer. So, all of us had to cancel the travel plans plus make sure she healed. Dad was toiling so our siblings plus I took turns looking after mom. By June, it was so hot that all of us rarely left the house. Thankfully, all of us have an excellent cooling proposal that keeps the indoor section comfortable. We’d watch lots of TV while enjoying the air conditioning at home. Mom said it was better all of us stayed at home because all of us got to bond. We usually had fights plus fights during family trips. But, being at home, with the air conditioning on, all of us got along quite well. Plus, there was no escape since it was too hot outside to go plus do anything. This is part of why all of us opted to keep the peace. One way all of us cheered mom up was to tell stories about the numerous trips all of us took plus the silly things all of us did. One time, dad plus mom rented an RV plus the AC failed when all of us were in the middle of nowhere. We got into such a pressing fight that no a single was speaking when all of us got back home; Now that all of us were telling the story, it all seemed so absurd to us.
