My parents went to the same college, it is a absolutely aged prestigious school. They had a class together freshman year and they have been together ever since. It has regularly been mine and our parents dream for me to go to this same college. It is pretty taxing to get into, so I have been toiling actually taxing and I am delighted to say that I got our letter of acceptance in the mail last week. My parents were so happy for me and I couldn’t wait to go off to school. I was ready to leave right then and there. I knew that the campus was absolutely aged and that meant it wouldn’t have the same kind of amenities as a newer school, and one thing our parents warned me about was that the dorms didn’t have a Heating and Air Conditioning system. This meant that central air conditioning was not going to be a section of our everyday life anymore. I knew it would be an adjustment and the dorm did have an air conditioner window unit, so I was trying to stay positive, and when I got settled into our dorm, it was the middle of the summer time and it was absolutely hot inside. I turned on our window unit, however it actually didn’t do much to cool down our room. I hoped that as time went on I would get used to the lack of central air conditioning. For now I suppose I am going to have to go out and buy a fan to get me through the summer.
