It’s a real challenge trying to workout without good climate control

I have a pair of electric fans that I run regularly, however I’m still drenched in sweat.

I make physical fitness a common part of my life. Every single day, I devote roughly an hour to my workout. I have a collection of fitness equipment, including a treadmill, jump rope, yoga mat, free weights, resistance bands & weight bench. I am honestly lucky that I have a lanai on the back of my residence where I can set up my workout machines & handle my workouts. The lanai is rather immense with a concrete floor, eight-foot ceilings & access to electricity. The one wall is completely made up of screens that offer a genuinely lovely view of the lake behind our residence. While I’m working out, I watch ducks, geese, fishermen & boats utilize the lake. In our local section the weather is easily mild for the majority of the year. I simply adjust what I’m wearing to handle the conditions. Because of the screens, there is no way to heat or cool the lanai. This is only a real problem in the middle of the warm season or Wintertime. Regardless of it being a brief amount of time, I struggle with it a great deal… During the summer season, I make sure to get up as early as possible & workout before the heat of the day. With temperatures in the upper nineties, going without an a/c machine is brutal. I have a pair of electric fans that I run regularly, however I’m still drenched in sweat. In the middle of the Wintertime, I plug in an electric area furnace & bundle up in warmer clothing. It doesn’t make a huge difference. It’s difficult to get warmed up & motivated for a pleasant workout when I’m shivering.
