I decided to test a brand-new type of air filter.
I had been using the proper disposable air filters for quite some time, but after using them, a neighbor suggested that I try using some washable air filters.
My friend and I have been friends since high school, and my associate and I were celebrating her recent move into her first home. When I walked into her apartment for the first time, she had remarkably fantastic indoor air quality, much better than I did. This completely surprised me because I wasn’t sure what she had that I didn’t that was making her air quality so fantastic, so I decided to ask her. She even told me I needed a washable air filter. I was completely surprised to hear about washable filters because I had never heard of filters before. What do washable air filters entail? She told me exactly how to disinfect which air filters. What sounds like a washable air filter is an air filter that can be reused by vacuuming or washing it. She dislikes the idea of getting the filters wet, so she vacuums out every time. She claims they are a little more expensive than disposable air filters, but because they are reusable, you end up saving more money, and she even offered me a couple for free to try. I’m going to give these new air filters a shot and see how they work for me. I’m curious to see if the washable air filters will provide me with the same high-quality air that my friend does, and I’m hoping they’ll also help me save money in the long run.
