It’s now official.
The summer heat is here and life is being led inside the air conditioning of home or office a lot more for the next four months.
That’s the way it is down here. The summer months are the get even for all the perfect weather the rest of the year. But I’m lucky to have the latest and greatest when it comes to residential HVAC. The heat pump we have is new to our home. We bought this place three years ago and the first thing we did before moving in was have the HVAC equipment replaced. Actually, we ended up being able to get the best in residential HVAC and HVAC technology because of the home sale. The seller just didn’t want any part of replacing the HVAC unit. I don’t know why since it was a most painless experience thanks to the great HVAC professionals who took care of it all for us. But for some reason, he just wanted to sell and go. That allowed us to negotiate such a better price for this house. And we poured all that added dough into the new HVAC equipment. It’s amazing really. There is zone controlled HVAC throughout the house. We also have a smart thermostat to control it all and keep the HVAC costs lower. But it’s not just HVAC cooling that I’ll be thankful for this summer. No, I’ll be thankful to have the humidity levels continually balanced in my house as well. That’s just an automatic part of the HVAC cooling process but it makes a big difference in keeping the mold & mildew at bay.
