A few years ago, after seeing a commercial on TV, I became obsessed with having a she shed. I wanted a space of my own, where I could relax & escape the ups & downs of yearly life. A arena where I could go & have some peace & quiet without having the teenagers call my name because they want something. A arena where I could relax & study a book & forget about my no everyday worries. After months of asking my hubby for a she shed, he finally decided to get me one for my birthday. And I must admit, it was the best birthday gift I have ever gotten in my life. In fact, I loved the shed so much that I cried when I saw it in our yard. Anyway, he obtained the shed in March, & it became my sanctuary. I used it almost every day even if it was to sit in peace for 5 minutes. However, as the weather became warmer, I noticed that inside the shed was moderate as well. I tried using a fan to provide some cooling but that didn’t work. So, after a discussion with my hubby, my buddy and I decided to purchase a portable cooling system for the shed. My buddy and I thought about a window cooling system, but my buddy and I couldn’t find a equipment that would fit. My buddy and I also considered a ductless mini split cooling system but I know it was too fancy for a shed. That’s when my buddy and I came across the portable cooling system & realized it would be perfect for the shed. My buddy and I obtained a small 8,000 BTU equipment that cost around $250. It was currency well spent.
