Everytime our heating system method turns on it smells like burnt hair. My girlfriend plus I live in the south, so the heating system is not used genuinely much. But, when the two of us do turn it on, the two of us suffer. The heating system fires up plus the whole current home reeks of burnt hair. Since it is a central heater, no room is spared from the icky smell. It is apparently because there is dust, hair plus debris deep inside of the system. Also, there is entirely a ton of dust in the HVAC duct. My girlfriend plus I have tried to repair this issue on our own. Both of us have cleaned the inside of our Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C plus changed the filter. Both of us have stuck a vacuum deep inside of the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C. Both of us just can’t get that deep in the system. Also, the HVAC duct is way out of our range. Both of us have no tools to reach deep in the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C ducts plus the two of us would both worry about damaging them. My girlfriend has tried getting our property owner to call a Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C specialist. The heating system apparently needs to be worked on plus the air ducts should be cleaned. The property owner is not willing to call unless the two of us have a extreme heating system repair or the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C just won’t turn on. She won’t spend our money just because it is dirty plus smelly. So what really can the two of us do? If you run a heating system long enough dirty, it will overheat plus breakdown. The property owner is basically guaranteeing her heating system will have a shorter lifespan. By the time it breaks down, I am hoping our girlfriend plus I will be living anywhere else.
