I like my new space heater a lot more than my old one

I inherited a storage unit full of old junk from my grandparents’ house. My parents intended on going through the lot and picking out what they wanted, but that was before they both had to leave the country to be with my sister during her surgery overseas. Since the storage unit had to be emptied by the end of the month, the huge task was laid in my lap, but I was given free reign as to what I wanted to do with the items. I could keep some of it, sell it, or trash it. However, I had no intention from the start to throw away anything of value. I spent the better part of a full weekend cleaning out that old storage unit to see if there was anything of value inside that I could keep, donate, or sell. Since I like to keep my expectations low in as many situations as possible, I assumed there would be mostly junk inside. However, I was completely wrong about the quality of the things in my grandparents’ old storage unit. There was a space heater in there that I used for several winters before I finally bought a new one. Although I like the new space heater more than the old one because of its safety features, that old space heater served me well for the years when I had it in use. The safety features on the new one include a tip-over shutoff switch, an overheat sensor, and a timer so the machine powers off after so many hours of continual use. If you like to put on your space heater before going to bed but want it to turn off at night, using the timer on the space heater is extremely helpful.
