I have long been a proponent of a clean home.
When things are clean, organized and orderly, life tends to flow a bit better.
My family tends to get less sidetracked and is just more comfortable. But all these years when I thought we were keeping a really clean house, we were missing a vital component. Honestly, nobody ever told me that HVAC air ducts have to be cleaned. But then again, I tend to sort of take the HVAC stuff for granted. So I immediately blamed all that on my husband. The chores like air filter change and HVAC maintenance are his purview. But honestly, neither of us knew anything when it came to the air ducts in our home. That resulted in me finally noticing some stuff falling from the HVAC vents. It was a collection of dust material. But it was heavy enough to fall to the carpet. At first, I thought something was really wrong with the HVAC equipment. So I called the HVAC company in a bit of a panic. They calmed me right down and told me that I merely needed to have ductwork cleaning and ductwork sealing done. They could set me up with a crew who only did that sort of thing. It was sort of crazy to see the amount of stuff that was coming out of the ductwork. There were more than a couple of bags with ductwork debris carried out. But the ductwork sealing would help prevent this as well as increase the efficiency of our heating and cooling as well. Now our house is truly and completely clean.
