I will be the first to admit that I love sleeping in a chilly room at night.
Even during the Winter, you would find that my room is cooled down with a powerful air conditioner to make sure that my room is cold and comfortable.
I understand that to most this would seem extreme, but air conditioners have always been a part of my sleeping experience, and I don’t believe I would be able to sleep without the air conditioner running constantly. However, you may realize like I do that air conditioning in the middle of Winter in the North could be a little uncomfortable. It might even make me sick if I am not careful during particularly cold nights. That is why I always used my heated blanket alongside my air conditioner. While the air around me might be a little chilly and uncomfortable for bare skin, my heated blanket keeps me nice and warm inside of the sheets. I don’t have to worry about shivering through the night or catching a cold the next morning because of my HVAC unit. In fact, the HVAC technician that installed the air conditioner in my house was the one who gave me this suggestion. He struggles with the same need for air conditioning while sleeping, and he said that the heated blanket has not only kept him warm enough at night, but it has also kept the peace between him and his wife, who hates being cold all of the time. I am very thankful for the practical advice offered by my HVAC technician.
