Whatever happened to the good old days of camping? Remember when you could just grab a tent, some bedding, and some food and water and run away for a few days.

No electricity, no cell phones, nothing would be required for a fun time.

Remember the better days when you could sleep in the back of the truck or on some soft grass and enjoy yourself? Well, those days are gone. However, the invention of the air conditioner has put a completely new spin on camping. Remember in the old days when you had to retreat from your tent because it was super hot without the air conditioner? Those days are passed. I recently bought a camper with a brand new HVAC unit! During the Summer, I can relax inside my air-conditioned living room and enjoy nature from a distance! I am not forced to stay outside if I don’t want to, and if I do want to walk outside, the air conditioner is waiting for me when I return. During those hot summer days when you are afraid of passing out due to the intense mugginess, the air conditioner will make the day a breeze. I remember struggling to sleep at night because of the heat, but the air conditioner will help you fall asleep so much faster! I literally have never struggled to fall asleep with my new camper that contains an HVAC unit. The only flaw of the air conditioner in my camper is that sometimes it gets too cold! Imagine that! I remember the good old days well, but without an air conditioner, they don’t seem as good now as they used to! I definitely prefer the chilly new days of camping!
