Sometimes Dave wonders if he’s just not meant to have heating equipment.
As if there is some kind of unseen force that just doesn’t want him to be warm during the dire winters.
Why does he feel this way? Because Dave seems to be having complications with his furnace system, and only his heater. He never has complications with his A/C, none at all. But Dave’s heating technology? Always some kind of issue. It’s a record for him if he manages to go several months without some kind of heating related problem. Now, he is sure you’re thinking, why doesn’t he just get new Heating and A/C equipment? Well, Dave will tell you why. Some years ago, his heating and A/C equipment was really old. He’s not sure the exact age, but if he were to guess, really around 15 years or so. Even then, Dave had a ton of heat related problems. No cooling problems, just heating complications. Well, after many struggles and high Heating and A/C service bills, Dave decided to do his research on heat and A/C products, and with the help of a certified A/C worker, buy a new furnace and air conditioner machine. Everything went well, the ancient equipment unlinked and the new ones installed. He was incredibly relieved, no more heat related complications, right? No, unfortunately not. After 4 months, the furnace began to act up. Dave called a heating specialist, and she told him it was strange, she had never seen anything like it. The equipment was new and showed no signs of faults, but yet was having complications anyways. Dave feels like he is cursed and destined to go without any form of heating.
