There’s been something wrong with our sibling’s HVAC system for a long time now, but every time I go to visit him, his air quality is horrible and it’s hard to breathe! I first observed complications with his air quality over more than one months ago, and it’s only gotten worse.
Originally, I told him that he needed to call an HVAC company to come repair his HVAC system.
My sibling has never been a proactive person, so of course he ignored our suggestion. There’s no denying that I was right and he was wrong, because his air quality makes that apparent. I’ve stopped visiting him in his home because I refuse to enter the space. There are particles visibly floating around in the air and I have a sinus attack every time I enter. Sometimes, our sibling needs to be forced to do something, which is the only way something will get done. I called an HVAC company and asked them to send an HVAC professional to his home as soon as possible. I told them about the horrible air quality and I was honest about the lack of HVAC maintenance, but when they finally asked me and others how I was planning on paying for it, I gave them our sibling’s debit card number. I knew our sibling wouldn’t mind the fact that he’d particularly paid for the HVAC servicing, because he’d be more glad that it was done for him. Eventually, he will have to learn how to be responsible with his central HVAC system, but unluckily, this month is not that day.
