My kid had been showing a lot of interest in Heating, Ventilation and A/C as her job. She was soon to graduate from high school, and so I was starting to worry. She had shown no interest in getting a job or even going to college. Her interest in Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C came as a total surprise, but it was a pleasant surprise. We’d scheduled an early appointment to have our air conditioning worked on, and my daughter asked if she could be present when the Heating, Ventilation and A/C professional showed up. While the tech was going through the servicing of the A/C unit, our kid stood back and she watched. She began to ask questions as to what made the A/C cool the air. The HVAC professional was honestly patient and he answered all of the questions. She also asked where she could go so she could attend classes to become a certified Heating, Ventilation and A/C professional. The HVAC professional told her all about the courses the local college offered in certifications for heating, ventilation plus air conditioning. He said that it took him about eighteen weeks, or longer if you wanted to specialize. He also asked her what got her so interested in Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C. She said she had seen us struggling with bills over the years. She knew that some of the expenses were in the maintenance of the gas furnace plus the a/c. She thought that having a Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C tech in the family would help to eliminate some of the burden on us, and plus it would give her a really great job for life. She has no idea how proud I was of her at that moment. She was thinking of us, and plus she was learning that Heating, Ventilation and A/C jobs are here to stay.
