This week, May 18th, the weather is still pleasant.
- The real heat will not arrive until the middle or end of July, and it’ll stay cool until the middle of October before cooling down again for the winter season.
That means my friend and I will have about five months of hot weather, and it will become completely crowded here around the end of July and remain that way until the beginning of October when everyone begins to leave here to return to their jobs and universities. The cooling supplier will be busy soon with Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning sales, and I intend to work more hours for them during the summer season to make a little more money. I want to put some money in the bank over the next six months so that I have a nice buffer in case something unexpected happens. I will do more Heating, Ventilation, and A/C tech labor for the local company, and I should be able to save about $10K in the bank by the end of the summer season, which should be easy because I already have about $4K saved. Once I have that buffer, I can cut back on labor and focus more on tunes in the band so that my buddy and I can start doing more shows in clubs and bars. I’d like to perform in this swanky club tomorrow, which has a fireplace behind the stage to add some ambiance for when my friend and I perform for the crowds. It should be a good time.
