Ductless Heating and Cooling Does the Trick

Changing up stuff can be exhausting.

Often, it takes all I have to just stay with the current schedule of things.

Structure, many times, is all the keeps me from veering off never to be seen or heard from again. Then, change gets thrown in there. Hey, I’m all for growth. But, change can also mean just throwing everything else into some form of chaos. One of the biggest of all of life’s changes just came in back to back fashion. My last child just left the nest and we moved to a much smaller home. I guess if I’m ever going to embrace change then, it will be now. It’s just so much to take in all at once. There are so many details involved. The HVAC in our new house is a great example. When we bought the home, we were aware that the HVAC system needed a serious upgrade. However, we were under the impression that it would get us through the summer season anyway. Well, it made it barely a month. Suddenly, we needed to get a new heating and cooling system but all our money was tied up. Plus, we weren’t sure whether or not we would be staying in this home for good. We called the HVAC folks that we have used for decades in our old house. They came out and gave us the bad news. The old system was completely finished. Replacing the central air system would require new ductwork to be hung which pushed the price out of our reach. The HVAC guy came up with a great alternative though. He suggested we put in a couple of mini split ductless HVAC units.
