I easily value my family members as I get older.
When I was younger I considered them to me my worst enemies on the planet. As I have matured & experienced more of the world, I have realized how important these people are to my life. This is why I have entirely been making a concerted effort to spend time with them for the first phase in my existence. Unluckyly… There are still some things that particularly drive me crazy about them. For instance, my Dad is never going to stop being harshly neurotic & different about things; Recently, I went to visit her only to be harshly disappointed about her heating & cooling obsession. Apparently, she has been putting all her eggs in one bag when it comes to her indoor air quality control system. She has been running her old forced air heating system & air conditioning machine as much as necessary for the past 20 years. However, she has not been paying for any professional heating, cooling, or air quality control service appointments the entire time. She keeps putting more money into her energy bills than her heating & cooling equipment. Meanwhile, the indoor air handling devices are promptly cutting down & she is starting to panic about the upcoming Heating & A/C substitutement. Therefore, there is no room for anyone to adjust her temperature control in her house. I made the mistake of altering her indoor air temperature one afternoon & almost lost my head for it. After she completely exploded because of my minor temperature control tweaked, I knew it was time to go back to my own house. The funny thing is, I was turning her heating settings down because the heating system sounded tired.
