Dog is the control machine police

Periodically I wonder who is really in charge of our household, but don’t get me wrong, I am the oldest, most responsible, and most financially involved human being in this home.

However, it sure seems like everybody else calls the shots around here.

I don’t mean to be dramatic, however even the dog has more stay in our home conditions than I do. I know you might feel that I’m exaggerating, however wait until you hear about the way that he reacts to our indoor air temperature control devices since the day my nice friend and I brought him home. The trouble all started when my nice friend and I adopted a puppy in the middle of the summer. Of course, it was brutally sizzling and humid outside so my nice friend and I had to spend a great deal of time indoors with the air conditioner blasting. I entirely did not want to overheat my little puppy by laying in the Sun and causing him to become dehydrated. Instead, my nice friend and I created a play part downstairs and made sure that all of the air vents were wide open so that our high-quality air conditioner could produce enough cool air to the space for him. Unluckyly, our puppy hastily grew into a dog and our dog hastily became accustomed to the non-stop air conditioner. It has been three years since my nice friend and I adopted our buddy, and at this point he is in charge of the heating, cooling, and air quality control system! Every time I attempt to increase the indoor air temperature there is a barking disaster. At this point, I can’t even look at the control machine separate from him switching into guard dog mode.
