Climate control for the commercial holiday home

I’m an interior designer, and sometimes, I get clients who ask for things beyond my scope.

The good thing about such customer requests is that I’ve learned where to source for several of them, like air conditioning installation services.

I have contacts for a specific air conditioning business that handles all my a/c setup, a/c care, and all other air conditioner-related issues that my clients have. My last client had just finished renovating their family holiday home, and they looked forward to making it open to guests. They needed an air conditioning professional to handle the air conditioning installation process since the property needed better climate control measures to ensure guests were comfortable. My clients also wanted to ensure that their energy bills did not exceed what they paid when they vacationed on the property. The property already had a functional air conditioner, but it lacked most of the modern features. I called in the a/c repairman to come to inspect the unit and suggest ways to make it guest friendly. The inspection revealed that the air conditioning filter needed to be changed before any additions were made to the system. Once the work was completed, the air conditioning company sent over a WIFI-compatible digital thermostat, which would remotely give my clients control of the home’s temperatures. We also installed temperature sensors in all the rooms around the house to ensure that temperatures remain even in the home and are adjusted when the rooms are not in use. The HVAC expert assured us that while the update may appear expensive, it would save my clients from high energy bills and constant a/c repair.
