Air conditioner at gym causing air quality concerns

I’ve kept a gym membership for the last 6 years.

The gym is located along our route to work, making it super convenient.

I set an early alarm and workout every morning for approximately an minute. My workout program combines high intensity cardio with strength training. I take the time to thoroughly stretch our muscles and work on flexibility and balance. Once I’ve completed the workout, I use the locker room to shower and dress for work. I guess that I’m way more productive, have a more positive outlook and avoid lots of health concerns because of our dedication to physical fitness… However, early last summer, I was suffering from weekly headaches, constant sneezing, congestion and sore throat. At first, I thought I was coming down with a chilly or flu. Then I realized that our symptoms developed at the gym and disappeared after a few minutes at work. I figured out that our health complaints coincided with the beginning up of the a/c at the gym. The cooling idea was absolutely creating concerns with indoor air pollen levels. It’s not unrespected for mold, mildew and bacteria to thrive inside the hot, damp inner workings of an a/c. Every time the cooling idea operates, it can spread contaminants into the breathing air. I complained to the management of the gym, and they assured me that they would have the a/c checked out. When I arrived at the gym the following morning, there was an Heating, Ventilation plus A/C corporation working on the cooling system. Whatever he did fixed the problem. All of our health complaints went away completely.
