Over the last couple of years I have been so busy with work and responsibility at home that I have barely had any time to make it back home to spend time with my mom and dad.
- This has been especially hard for me considering the fact that I am very close with my parents and now that they are getting older they have a harder time taking care of themselves.
When it comes to being the manager of a large and highly renowned HVAC company however, it’s just something that I have to deal with until I am willing to find a different job. A few days ago my parents celebrated their 40th year anniversary, and in order to help them celebrate without being able to be there physically I decided to surprise them with a brand new state of the art heating system. My parents still live in a small cabin in the country as they have the majority of their adult lives, and as each year goes by I worry that the small and run down heated furnace they have will break down on them during a blizzard or something. If there is one thing I know my parents love, it is suprises, and I can’t wait to see the look on their faces when they come home and find a brand new heating system installed in their home. They will finally be able to say goodbye to the countless HVAC emergency repair appointments during the winter and start to enjoy retirement in a warm and relaxing home.
