There was an advertisement for a new heating and cooling company in our neighborhood newspaper today.

I mean, we all live in a very small town with a population of fewer than 500 people, so apparently many people in my community still believe that. Our tiny town even has its own newspaper, but since there isn’t much happening here in terms of breaking news, this paper frequently goes and reports on fairly routine events that take place. Now, having a new heating and cooling company is really exciting news for many locals, and this is just because there was previously only one heating and cooling company that was available in our area. Since the AC company doesn’t have many technicians and you can go without heat or air conditioning for a few days, the need for an emergency HVAC technician to visit your home only recently became an issue. We would have to travel further into the city, where there are other heating and cooling facilities, if we wanted to go there. Therefore, most people just continue doing business with the local heating and cooling company as a result. Nevertheless, despite the fact that I’m sure they’re nice people, I’m not particularly interested in this new heating and cooling company. I’m content with the neighborhood heating and cooling business I visit in my hometown instead. If there’s something really fantastic, I might try starting a new business, but most likely I’ll stick with what I already have.
