A few weeks ago my wife and I had something happen to us that hasn’t occurred in all of our years as being homeowners.
It was so serious that we even needed to get our lawyer involved due to what had occured.
We had been having some problems keeping our house cool for the past three for four summers no matter what we tried. Our somewhat new air conditioning unit hadn’t been working for us very well no matter how often we got it serviced by the HVAC company that we had been working with for years either. After some thought, we decided to move on from that HVAC heating and cooling company and onto another one, hoping that they would be able to solve the problem. When the new HVAC heating and cooling company had come over and began to take a look at the unit, they began to notice some strange things. There were several blockages within the air ducts. The strangest part was that these weren’t the average types of blockages that most HVAC repairman would find in a unit, they looked like they had been placed there. After he told me that, it all started to make sense. The HVAC heating and cooling company had purposely place the blockage into the air ducts in order to keep us coming back and back to them in order to get an HVAC checkup. We had spent thousands of dollars on getting the unit fixed up over the past few years. We decided to get our lawyer involved and finding this out in hopes of getting our hard earned money back from this slimy HVAC company. I’m glad that we decided to start working with another company, or else we would keep losing thousands of dollars each month on repairs.
