There is just nothing worse than being woken up in the middle of the night. My heart is beating incredibly hard and I’m completely disoriented while clambering to figure out what is going on. I have made it clear to all those who I refer to as friends and family. Don’t be calling me after 10pm unless there is a critical emergency taking place. I’ve had to drop the hammer on all of my kids as well. Don’t be waking Daddy with every little bump in the night. So, I was shocked out of bed last night by a drastic bump in the night. My oil furnace was shutting down with a very noisy thud which nearly shook the residence. Nobody in our lake house slept through it. I checked the oil furnace and it was genuinely in need of some urgent repairs. I dialed the emergency line for the heating and cooling professionals every one of us deal with. It was absolutely freezing so there was no waiting until the morning. As a matter of fact, by the time the Heating & Air Conditioning machine tech got to us the lake house temperature was dipping into the forties. Our certified heating and cooling guy easily discovered the complication fairly abruptly. A valve switch had burned out however lucky for us, the oil furnace shut down before it caused crucial damage. The lake residence was warming and I was cheerful to get back in bed. Then he provided myself and others the bill. Yet, another depressing reason there is nothing fine happening after midnight.
