The weather has been particularally dry for this time of the year.
Both of us rarely get a lot of rain or so in this part of the country, however the two of us usually receive a little bit of precipitation.
The dry desert air has been causing a lot of problems in the house. There is dust plus debris plus sand all over the locale. I have been increasing the air filter every 2 weeks to make up for the desert air, then just a small number of days ago, the two of us had severely high winds. Both of us had steady winds at 40 miles an hour with gusts up to 65 miles an hour. A lot of palm trees fell in the neighborhood where the two of us live plus the two of us were lucky that our lake house plus our garage was spared. After the Storm was over, our fiance plus I noticed an inch of dust all over the surfaces in our home. Both of us had changed the air filter a few days previously plus there was still an inch of dust on all of the surfaces. Both of us cleaned the house from top to bottom plus it took hours to get rid of all the dust. Both of us decided to go to the hardware store to buy an air cleaner for the house, but my fiance plus I found a good deal on an air cleaner so the two of us decided to buy two. Both of us put one of their air cleaners in the kitchen plus the two of us put the other air cleaner plus the master living room. Hopefully the air cleaners will help keep some of the dusty desert wind out of our home.
