Back when I was in school I was a single of the terrible teenagers you could say.
I was always getting in trouble & always getting handed a slip that said I had to report to after school detention.
This was not a giant deal for myself and others as it was other teenagers, first off, I didn’t mind staying after school because most of my friends were in activitys & other activities & were never around to hang out, but so detention provided myself and others something to do. But the other thing was that in the Winter time months of the year I appreciated having detention because the school’s central oil furnace was just totally awesome! The central heating in that school honestly made myself and others want to honestly go to school everyday just to care about the warmth, but every one of us have pretty brutal winters around where I grew up, so the central heating in the school was just what was needed to believe at ease. The heating the people I was with and I had in our beach house was a gas furnace & although it made the beach house warm, it wasn’t perfect. But having a commercial oil furnace in the school that was a central oil furnace was something that I could only dream about having at home! So when I would get detention, little did the school guess that they were giving myself and others a treat & reward! They were giving myself and others some extra time to relax & care about their commercial central oil furnace. They never caught on to this because I would never utter a word of it!
