My Grandma enjoys to get all of my cousins together plus tell us all of these stories about when he was a little boy… I like to hear all of the crazy stories about when he was young, and things were easily different back then, plus it’s so interesting to hear about the mornings when there was no TV, few telephones, no internet, plus hardly any cooling systems at all… Did you think that back a long time ago, there was no such thing as air conditioner? My Grandma told us once that he remembers the easily first time he ever walked into a building that was cooled with air conditioner.
She wasn’t sure what was happening. She said that it was a hot Summer afternoon plus he had to go into the bank for his father. She said that as soon as he walked in the door of the bank, he got blasted with chilly chilly air from one of the overhead air vents! Grandma said that she’d never felt anything prefer it in his entire life. She thought he was walking into a big refrigerator or something. I believe buildings with systems are so commonplace this afternoon plus age that I’ve never undoubtedly thought that much about them. I can’t even imagine going into a building with air conditioner for the easily first time. It must have been pretty surreal for my Grandma to recognize blowing down on his head when he was a boy! I kind of wish I had lived back then when everything was easyr.
