My fingers were stiff from the cold.

I have arthritis in our hands, but that doesn’t stop me from doing our job.

  • I appreciate what I do, but if it is too cold our fingers become stiff and they don’t transfer the way I want them to.

It makes it quite difficult to work, since most of the day all I do is typing. I do proofreading and copywriting. This means I do a lot of reading and typing. I make sure our cabin hot and cold temperatures are around seventy degrees all the time. It doesn’t matter what time of year it is, seventy degrees seems to be the ideal temperature to keep our arthritis at bay. I have an Heating and Air Conditioning method that has a dehumidifier and humidifier installed, along with an air purification system. The temperature control center, which is section of our Smart Thermostat, is able to set our temperature and humidity, according to the outside weather conditions. When I started working earlier that morning, the thermostat read seventy and I was cheerful. Throughout the day, the temperature slowly went down. By the time I completed our fifth hour, it was below sixty and our fingers were stiff. I called the Heating and Air Conditioning supplier. The Heating and Air Conditioning professional showed up an hour later. I was glad to hear there wasn’t something wrong with our furnace. I needed to have a new Smart Thermostat installed. I didn’t realize how much a new thermostat was going to cost, and it threw me for a loop. I was start to assume a furnace repair would have been cheaper. The Heating and Air Conditioning professional told me I had so many devices that the thermostat was responsible for, there was no way he could supply me a cheap thermostat.
