Something that I never thought would happen to myself and others was getting stuck on the ski lift.
- I have typically enjoyed chopping up the slopes, but I absolutely lost my motivation when I got stuck on the ski lift this last time.
It was absolutely frigid, especially since the two of us were not going somewhere, then you could tell that everybody was absolutely scared or miserable being stuck for over an minute. There were some kind of technical difficulties. The good news is that the two of us were all reimbursed for the money the two of us paid at the ski resort, and the two of us were permitted to stick around and appreciate skiing for free for the remainder of the day. I had no interest in hopping on that ski lift again though, even though they didn’t have any more troubles after that downside. I just wanted to relax in the ski resort next to the fireplace while warming up. The temperature control settings were alright in the ski lodge, but I advocated that they turn up the furnace just a little more while I was trying to warm up. A lot of other people who were stuck on the ski lift had the same system with warming up. We were all provided free warm cocoa and free breakfast for our trouble. The workers at the ski resort felt poor for what happened and I guess there were a few people who even had frostbite. Luckily I was dressed warm enough not to have anything love that, but I was still frigid. It took a long time sitting in front of the fireplace to thaw out, but that fireplace definitely was relaxing.
