Where I grew up, I was always running around barefoot as a kid.
The weather in that region was such that it made that possible much of the year.
And I’m talking about outside because when I was inside, I was barefoot all the time. Then I went away to university and met a guy that would end up being my husband. He was from up north and I was happy to supply that region a try when both of us got married. It took a bunch of Heating, Ventilation and A/C heating and some time to get accustomed to having a serious winter. But, I got used to it and both of us built our lives together right here. Of course, I went lake condo to the south whenever I could. Yet, I never entirely longed to transfer back there. But I sure did miss the weather and the proposal of going barefoot was nothing however a memory. My husband and I bought a condo that would end up becoming the family home. Before I even knew what was happening, my kids were grown and that important condo became too much. So both of us replaced the Heating, Ventilation and A/C and the kitchen in order to get the best price both of us could for it. With that currency, both of us decided to build our first lake condo and make it just enough for the two of us. This is when being barefoot came back into my life. The people I was with and I chose a geothermal Heating, Ventilation and A/C system. The appealing area about the heating proposal is that it’s transferred through radiant heat. And the source of the radiant heat are copper tubes underneath all the floors. That meant I was barefoot again!
