Dehumidifier was ready for winter

I am the sort of person who can be a bit obsessive about my appearance.

I’m not sure when the tendency to nitpick over my looks began, but I can tell you that it’s probably never going to end.

If there’s one thing that I enjoy in my day, it’s putting on my face and a nice outfit. It makes me feel a lot better about myself and all of my daily operations if I can at least look acceptable. That’s why I was less than excited when I realized how dry the indoor air gets when you live in a perpetually cold environment. I live in a climate where the winter season is extremely difficult. It gets very cold, blustery, and snowy for about 6 months straight. During that time you have no choice but to rely on your indoor air temperature control devices to keep you alive and comfortable. I found myself operating my forced air furnace on a continual basis last year and that’s when I also found myself plagued with the effects of dry indoor air. Namely, my skin became dry and flaky, my hair became very frizzy, and even my lips were perpetually chapped. No matter how much moisturizer I used it did not undo the effects of the forced air furnace. That’s when I decided to install a humidifier system in my house for the next upcoming winter. I found a local heating, cooling, and air quality control dealership and arranged for the humidifier to be professionally installed so it works in tandem with my central HVAC system. Now, I’m much more confident about the humidity in my indoor air and I am prepared for winter.
