If you were to ask anyone who knows me, the first thing they would tell you is that I am a very busy man.
Most of the time I am not able to make it home from work until late at night, and I have to leave early in the morning each night.
I wasn’t always this busy in my life, but ever since I got my new job this is simply the way that it has been. One of the downfalls of having such a busy schedule is the fact that I am not able to take care of my home the way that I used to. I do my best on the weekends to keep up on the day to day tasks that most homeowners are able to deal with during the week but most of the time I am not able to catch up. The money and improvement in status has been amazing, but one thing that has been one of the biggest downfalls of working so often is the decline of performance in my air conditioning unit. The air conditioning unit that was installed in my house when I moved in a few years ago was extremely old and constantly needed to have repairs done. Back when I had more free time I was able to act as my own personal HVAC repair tech and keep it running smoothly, but now the a/c unit is as good as broken. The air ducts are extremely damaged and I am lucky if the dang thing even turns on most days. I guess that I am going to have to do something I was truly hoping to avoid was having to get a new a/c unit, but I guess my recent raise at my job will help with the high cost.
