I have a very easy life here in Europe, and I am still aware of the hectic life I left behind in the United States.

I used to paint houses, and it’s a wonder I lasted a decade in the business after putting in so much effort.

Now I work online and make the same amount of money while not having to transport a heavy painting unit or risk my life climbing ladders and walking on steep roofs. I don’t have to drive my labor truck around for three hours every afternoon doing estimates for my local supplier, and I can now work in air conditioned comfort while listening to music through my earbuds. Life is very different now, and it is much better in terms of my working life. My love life has even heated up a little as I met this boy who works for a local company and appears to be taking a liking to me, then I took over a year off from dating to clear my mind and find myself again, and it appears that my heart is finally opening up to affectionate someone. I needed time to work on my heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system and just relax in my flat with my a/c keeping both me and my cats comfortable. I’m going to the beach soon to eat my apple and kefir while watching the waves gently roll onto the sand. Mother Nature’s natural temperature control will keep me comfortable for the next month or so before summer heats things up again.
