There’s nothing worse than trying to sleep when you are too hot, but in the middle of the night, I tend to overheat.
Sometimes, I wake up in the middle of the night and I’m all covered in sweat and have to change into a different set of pajamas.
Fortunately, this doesn’t happen every night, but when it does, it makes me wonder why it is happening. The reality of it is that I live in a warm climate and do not have central heating or A/C in my house. The home that I live in has only window equipment ACs and space heaters to stay warm. I am not the type of person to complain, but the A/C in our family room does not work properly, which is why I am consistently waking up in the middle of the night dripping with sweat. I thought at first that it could have been our memory foam mattress that was causing me to wake up dripping with sweat. Then I realized that it was just the window AC unit. The window equipment A/C does not work well and it never has. The outside of the window equipment A/C is completely rusted and has not been replaced in several years. If I had to guess, I would say the window AC unit is at least 10 years old. They are unquestionably efficient and cheap to replace, which is why I had no problem calling our landlord and explaining the situation.
