Where do you want to live?

When my daughter along with her partner told me that she was thinking about moving, I was delightfully surprised.

After all, I never expected her to come back home after being gone for 25 years.

The two of us honestly anticipated our daughter would live in the southern region for the rest of her life. The two of us did not honestly expect to hear the words that she said one day last week. She’s been thinking about moving further up to the northern spot plus bringing her camper to live on our property. My partner plus myself have a 7 acre property that includes some room for more space of RVs. This would work out great, because we would all be in the same compound and have our own space. One thing that we haven’t thought too much about, is the cold temperatures. Around here, it can get especially freezing. If my daughter and addition to her partner are going to live in that RV, they’re going to need to winterize the thing and make sure that their furnace is capable of warming such cold temps. In the South, the coldest temperatures they normally have in the winter is around 30 degrees. We’re going to see temperatures up here in the single digits or even possibly below zero. The furnace and heating equipment will need to be set up for this time of cold weather. I don’t know if they’re going to make this decision lightly, but I hope the temperatures won’t have anything to do with keeping them away.
