I’ve always been an outdoors person can you even though I’m a girl I’ve always been a bit of a tomboy.

My dad was a huge outdoorsman and for a long time ever since I was a little kid I wanted to go camping with him.

So one day when I was 10 years old he took me and my brother outdoors and I had the best time of my life. My mom was reluctant to let me in because she was afraid that something would happen out in the woods, but she trusted my dad enough to know that he would be able to take care of us. So with that we headed out on our first camping trip and it was me, my dad, my brother. There was nothing like getting outside into the Great outdoors because normally I’m stuck in the house most of the time because of where we live. When I was a kid I lived in the suburbs and because I was too small and too young to drive I couldn’t really get around too much without having to have my parents or a friend take me somewhere. So getting out into the woods and being able to run around and be a wild child was like a dream come true for me. I was worried about the heat at first. I was afraid that it would be comfortable on the camping trip because of the warm summer weather, but on the contrary I found myself not missing the air conditioning system at all. In fact I found the outdoor air refreshing compared to the still indoor air that was created by the HVAC system.
