Using drones in the air ducts

I went over to my pal’s house the other day to do him a favor.

This is the kind of guy who needs a favor more often than most people, do you have any friends like that? Anyway, Pete is a good dude, and a good friend, so I usually help him when he needs it.

This time in the course of my favor, working on his central system for him, he gave me a great idea. For once I was able to ask a favor of him, and this may be the key to pushing my business to the next level. Since COVID, people are more worried about indoor air quality than ever before, but they are also nervous about having strangers in their house. I realized we could use one of his mall drones to do an HVAC system inspection from the inside out. Something that small could easily navigate the twists and turns of a ventilation system, mapping out all the air ducts, and sending back streaming video for our analysis. This way we could see if and what the problems were for the HVAC system before sending a tech inside to work on it. It would spare us from having to enter a home and crack open the air ducts without being absolutely sure it was necessary. There was also the tidy little bonus of my HVAC customers thinking that the drones were really cool, and telling their friends about it on social media. Since this is taking off, I am going to hire my buddy as a full time drone pilot.
