When I moved into my house, I noticed there wasn’t central air conditioning in the house.
I didn’t own the house, so I wasn’t going to install central air conditioning.
I bought two window air conditioners that I could take with me when I moved out. I had one AC unit in the living room window and the other was in the bedroom. I couldn’t believe how comfortable it was in the house, with only two window air conditioning units. It was more comfortable in my house than it was in my sister’s with central air conditioning. I called my sister and asked her to come over and see my new home. She asked if I had bought it or rented it and I laughed. I hadn’t found the home I wanted to call a forever home, and I wasn’t going to purchase anything until I knew it was right. I looked at my home like I looked at a boyfriend. I didn’t want to try something on unless I wanted to buy it. When my sister arrived, she said she was jealous of the air conditioning I had. I told her that all I had were two window air conditioning units, but she didn’t believe me. I had to physically show her the air conditioning units before she believed it was all I had. She said she wished she had tried window air conditioning before having central air conditioning installed, but her house was a lot bigger than mine. I hated that my sister was upset that my air conditioning was better, but I loved that she liked my home.
