The real value of HVAC maintenance

I was talking to our friend the other afternoon about her HVAC situation.

She simply told myself and others that her heat pump was on its last legs and she was looking at replacing it; and then I actually felt for him because that’s a large chunk of change to have to break off, and when my friend and I first purchased our home, my friend and I decided to stick with the HVAC equipment that was there, this was all a simple part of the fact that the up-to-date home was in as is condition and priced to sell suddenly, and my associate and I got so much up-to-date home for way less money so my friend and I were willing to deal with the renovations… Fortunately, the HVAC component held out for a couple of years. The residential HVAC replacement was undoubtedly the final renovation; but man, that’s an investment of hundreds of dollars in HVAC equipment, however so my friend and I right away signed up for the HVAC maintenance system which is focused on HVAC maintenance. It’s easily been a decade and there hasn’t been even a hint of any sort of heating and cooling problem. But when I asked our friend how many years she got out of her HVAC equipment, I was shocked by the answer. She also told herself and others that she had installed that heat pump 12 years ago which was right about the time my friend and I were buying this house, and yet, she never did any sort of HVAC maintenance of any kind. This was also honestly a prime example of why you protect your heating and cooling investment with consistent, seasonal HVAC maintenance. I’m planning on getting at least 25 years or more of uninterrupted quality heating and air from our residential HVAC, but HVAC maintenance is the main reason.
