Last weekend, I thought something was wrong with my gas furnace, then I couldn’t tell if it was all in my head or if there was easily a problem, so I tried to play it off! And during the week, I’m away at my job most of the day, so I thought that maybe I was overreacting to noises since I was easily home to hear them during the weekend.

I waited a few minutes plus tried not to think about it too much… However, as I was eating supper, I noticed that my gas furnace began running aggressively plus the heat wouldn’t stop pouring through my air vents.

It sounded akin to someone who had set the gas furnace on high plus it was continuously running. I ran over to the temperature control to try to get the heat to stop running so aggressively, but that didn’t work. I didn’t want my gas furnace to blow up. I especially didn’t want my energy consumption to rise, so I went to the breaker box and flipped the circuit, and as soon as I did this, the gas furnace right away stopped running. I was too scared to turn it back on, so I called an actual heating and A/C professional to come service my gas furnace. It was after proper minutes, but they were willing to come for a fee. I needed heat, so there was no other option; luckily, the heating and A/C professional who came was accustomed to easily working on things such as this, so he was able to locate the problem instantly. He made sure everything was running properly before he left, plus I was thankful that it didn’t cause more disfigure.
