Last weekend, I thought something was wrong with our gas furnace, however I could not actually tell if it was all in our head or if there was absolutely a problem, so I tried to play it off… And during the week, I’m away at work most of the day, so I thought that maybe I was overreacting to noises since I was absolutely home to hear them while I was on the weekend. I waited a few minutes in addition to trying not to guess about it too much; but, as I was eating dinner, I noticed that our gas furnace began running aggressively in addition to the heat wouldn’t stop pouring through our air vents. It sounded as if someone had set the gas furnace on high in addition to it being continuously running. I ran over to the thermostat to try in addition to getting the heat to stop running so aggressively, but that didn’t work. I didn’t want our gas furnace to blow up. I especially didn’t want our energy consumption to rise, so I went to the breaker box in addition to flipped the circuit. As soon as I did this, the gas furnace immediately stopped running. I was too scared to turn it back on, so I called an actual heating in addition to an air conditioning professional to come and maintain our gas furnace. It was after typical minutes, but they were willing to come for a fee. I needed heat, so there was no other option. Luckily, the heating in addition to the air conditioning professional who came was accustomed to working on things similar to this, so he was able to locate the problem right away. He made sure everything was running regularly before he left, in addition to I was thankful that it didn’t cause more disfigurement.
