There has been a awful flu going around for a couple of months now.
- It is knocking out most people I know plus I am trying my best not to get sick.
I don’t want to have to miss work or anything like that. When my teenagers get in the automobile I make sure to have them clean of their hands plus faces so they don’t bring any germs house with them. However, as strenuous as I tried, I could not keep the flu from coming into our house plus within two days our whole household was sick. No one could leave bed plus we were all coughing plus sneezing. My wife had the worst case plus I ended up having to drive him to the hospital. The nurse said she would be out of work for at least three weeks. I cherish my wife but when she gets sick she starts to act like a child. Worst of all she makes me keep the control machine in the household set to sixty-five degrees all afternoon long. The teenagers plus I are freezing to death because the air conditioner is blasting, but my wife prefers it. She would have the air conditioner set to sixty if I would let him. However, I do not like the freezing plus I wish we had the furnace running. I do not like being sick, but being sick plus freezing is the worst feeling in the world to me. I guess I will have to endure the air conditioner while my wife gets better plus hope she doesn’t get used to the control machine being set so low.
