The Air Vent Was Closed & Causing Problems

There’s been a heat & air issue happening in my kitchen that I felt hopeless about, then there was a lot of heat coming into the kitchen at night & it was overwhelming; I could not figure out why my kitchen was overheating at night, even though I wasn’t enjoying it.

I don’t like to sleep in moderate hot & cold temperatures, so this was problematic, and my solution to the overwhelming amount of heat was to close one of the air vents.

There were two in the kitchen, so I thought that if I closed one, it would prevent the heat from entering. In my mind, it made a lot of sense… During the first night with one air vent closed, I thought the kitchen felt a lot cooler & I was proud of myself, then closing the air vent was a self-explanatory maintenance that made a substantial difference, so I continued to leave it closed, but a few weeks went by & I realized that my boiler isn’theating the rest of my house equally. I had never experienced this concern before, so my mind went instantly to the closed air vent in my kitchen. I didn’t want to take any options with my Heating and Air Conditioning system, so I called an Heating and Air Conditioning company to come service it. I asked them about the closed air vent & if it was the source of my problem, however long story short, the Heating and Air Conditioning professional told me that the closed air vent was redirecting all the moderate air into other areas at an uneven pace & it was causing confusion, however now, my air vents are all open again & I’m back to square one.
