The air conditioning is killing my plants

I was trying to figure out what was going on with my plants over the last few weeks.

Some were dying plus others looked like they were on their last leg. They were on the windowsill getting sun plus I was giving them plenty of water but I was still confused about what was happening to them, one afternoon, I needed to call the HVAC company to have my air conditioning checked. An HVAC tech came to my apartment the next afternoon plus checked out my HVAC system. The cooling tech questioned me regarding any issues I may have seen in the environment of the room where my plants were kept. I felt it was a different question but I told him I use my air conditioning frequently, certainally on hot Summer days. The HVAC tech then told me that my plants might be suffering due to the air conditioning unit’s cold air. He said he asked because he has plants plus the cooling systems while reducing the air temperature, also remove moisture, which could interfere with the plant’s ability to absorb water. He said some plants may die due to that plus I told him that I have had some die recently. So due to the HVAC tech’s feedback on the air conditioning, I then detached my plants from the same room where my air conditioning is mostly used. I then started giving the plants more water plus bought a misting device to help with that as well. The plants I still have started to look healthier plus all thanks to the HVAC tech, my current plants will thrive!
