The air conditioner is killing my plants

I was trying to figure out what was going on with my plants over the last few weeks. Some were dying and others looked like they were on their last leg. They were on the windowsill getting daylight and I was giving them plenty of water but I was still confused about what was happening to them! One day, I needed to call the HVAC dealer to have my air conditioner checked. An HVAC tech came to my house the next day and checked out my HVAC system. The cooling tech questioned me regarding any problems I may have seen in the environment of the room where my plants were kept. I felt it was a different question but I told him I use my air conditioner frequently, certainally on sizzling summer time days. The HVAC tech then told me that my plants might be suffering due to the air conditioner unit’s frosty air. He said he asked because he has plants and the a/cs while reducing the air temperature, also disattach moisture, which could interfere with the plant’s ability to absorb water. He said some plants may die due to that and I told him that I have had some die recently. So due to the HVAC tech’s feedback on the air conditioner, I then removed my plants from the same room where my air conditioner is mostly used. I then started giving the plants more water and purchased a misting component to help with that as well. The plants I still have started to look healthier and all thanks to the HVAC tech, my modern plants will thrive!
