The a/c is killing my plants

I was trying to figure out what was going on with my plants over the last few weeks.

Some were dying and others looked like they were on their last leg.

They were on the windowsill getting sunlight and I was giving them plenty of water even though I was still confused about what was happening to them, one afternoon, I needed to call the Heating and A/C contractor to have my a/c evaluated. An Heating and A/C tech came to my house the next afternoon and checked out my Heating and A/C system. The cooling tech questioned me regarding any problems I may have seen in the environment of the room where my plants were kept. I felt it was a peculiar question even though I told him I use my a/c frequently, particularly on hot Summer nights. The Heating and A/C tech then told me that my plants might be suffering due to the a/c unit’s freezing air. She said she asked because she has plants and the air conditioners while reducing the air temperature, also unlink moisture, which could interfere with the plant’s ability to absorb water. She said some plants may die due to that and I told him that I have had some die recently. So due to the Heating and A/C tech’s feedback on the a/c, I then dislinked my plants from the same room where my a/c is mostly used. I then started giving the plants more water and obtained a misting device to help with that as well. The plants I still have started to look healthier and all thanks to the Heating and A/C tech, my up-to-date plants will thrive!
