It’s so awesome to spend time researching an item to understand it before you spend your money on it. It’s even better when that thing surprises you with all sorts of hidden gems. It doesn’t happen all that often so when it does, it is just so cool. I take researching the stuff I want certainly too far. It’s just I don’t want to get burned on any purchase, much less a truly expensive a single. I get ridiculed for being a total nerd because I do this with any purchase nearing a hundred dollars. But too bad, because I don’t get burned plus I even get an awesome surprise at times. My latest purchase is a great example. The Heating & A/C use was killing the utility budget. Every week, both of us were paying more than both of us had anticipated. My family simply refused to do with less Heating & A/C cooling when it’s hot. And sincerely, I can’t blame them. All of us live in an section where it gets brutal hot during the summer time season. So, I researched the smart thermostat market to find a single that would be the best at helping me manage the Heating & A/C kilowatt load. I was truly impressed with a single identifiable brand so I easily checked it out. The reviews were great plus everything I learn about this smart thermostat was excellent. I pulled the trigger, purchased it plus had it installed. Not only did this thing instantly split 15 percent of our utility bill but, it has a surprise for me that I didn’t see coming. The smart thermostat will sync with automatic blinds! The sensors for the thermostat will drop the shades in any room once it determines the air is heating due to direct sunlight. I had no idea!
