So I sure missed the call when it came to the pandemic.
Initially, I was 1 of those people who thought it was all being blown out of proportion.
In my mind, I thought the heat plus humidity of Summer would kill that virus. Of course, I could not have been any more incorrect. But I clung to the notion could I would not be missing the zone controlled Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C of the office easily long. Our company closed the office plus the two of us had to work from our own central cooling system. I was against that decision plus lobbied to stay inside that commercial Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C as section of the skeleton staff. That request was denied plus I was sent loft to the residential Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C of my home. When I started laboring from home, I just entirely didn’t put that much effort into it because I literally thought we’d be going right back to the office. That all changed by the Summer of 2020 when all the layoffs started happening. I was lucky to keep my task although I did have to take a pay chop to continue laboring from the central cooling system of home. For some reason, this kind of kicked myself and others into gear plus I entirely started saying to myself that I needed to get comfortable laboring from home. So I cleared out a spare room plus made it a dedicated office space. I was entirely surprised at how much I loved laboring from home. I was even further surprised that I declined the invitation when the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C at work was available again. Instead, I put in a ductless heat pump in my new loft office plus will continue to work remotely.
