Physical therapy training in the gym

You would feel this would mean the class was awful, but in all honesty, the class was very uplifting

When I was just a teenager, I was in this terrible automobile accident. The accident really messed me up for a long time, so I regularly deal with pain in certain parts of this body of mine. My knee regularly hurts after I have been resting too long, just as my neck gives me problems when I don’t stretch it out regularly. I also experience back pain a lot, and despite numerous doctor visits, handfuls of pills and regular exercise, the pain just doesn’t stop. My neighbor proposed to me recently that I consider a physical therapy and training program at a local gym center. Since the gym in our neighborhood is all about personal training, the name does not mean weight loss or bodybuilding specifically. Many go there to build muscle, get new exercises, or attend for physical therapy sessions. I was put in a group physical training class, and since the people who tend to do physical therapy are those in pain, our whole class was all seasoned people and myself! Quite the stark contrast. You would feel this would mean the class was awful, but in all honesty, the class was very uplifting. I had a fun time with all the older folks, and related to them as they all had similar aches and pains to myself. The personal trainer had us all work as a group too, though our goals were personalized. I started doing physical therapy training with the trainer since I was younger, and I’m feeling much better now.
