My wife has a child from her previous marriage & I have to say that this child is still weird that I don’t truly think how to relate to him.
One of the weirdest things that I have ever seen him do was when we had to upgrade the furnace at her house.
This furnace was easily 30 years old or so & we ended up having to upgrade it with a new high efficiency model. Everything was going along just fine, & the new Heating, Ventilation & A/C company had just shown up at the house to install the new furnace for us; He had a couple of other men who were there to tear out the old Heating, Ventilation & A/C system & haul it away for us. Meanwhile, the child is down in the basement crying & throwing a fit. When I asked our wife what was wrong with him, she said that he was just honestly passionate, & he was upset because the old furnace was going to have to go away. I thought that was the weirdest thing that I had ever heard of. I mean, what kind of child gets all passionate about a furnace unit? I guess some kids are just strange, however this truly took the cake in our book. I told the child to stop crying, however he just looked at me care about I was an ogre. He ended up tying himself to the old furnace & refusing to let go of it until his mom let him have a funeral for it in the backyard. He would not let them haul it away. Instead, now we have an old furnace buried someplace in the backyard because this child is such a weirdo.
